my story
I built the ritual I needed.
My name is Alexandre and for more than a decade I've been captivated by : how do you stay young, fit, energized and ambitious, year after year? I tried the training, the diets, the supplements, the biohacks. The answer that changed everything wasn't in the gym. It was in my nights.
Sleep is the number one factor behind my happiness, my energy and my ambition. Everything else is built on it.Alexandre GOETZ
Discipline became my lifestyle
It started in my early twenties. I became a real athlete at heart: intense weight training several times a week, extreme attention to everything I ate, supplements carefully chosen and tested. I wasn't following trends, I was running experiments on myself, trying to understand what truly makes a body and a mind perform.
Over the years, those experiences became my own personal lab. Some things worked, many didn't. But one thing never changed: the more I learned, the more I wanted to optimize.
A career that demanded the best version of me
My professional life was in sales. I represented major international companies across Europe, sitting in front of clients and decision makers every single day. In that world, how you look, how you speak and how much energy you bring into a room matter. I needed a physique and a mind that were always optimized.
So my discipline wasn't just a hobby. It was part of my job. Taking care of my body, my aesthetics and my focus was how I showed up as the best ambassador for the brands I represented.
Life on the road
Being a salesman meant being constantly on the move. Hours behind the wheel, cities that changed every week, restaurant meals instead of home cooking, and countless nights in hotel rooms. I had to double my discipline just to stay at my level.
And the first thing to suffer was always my sleep. Unfamiliar beds, harsh hotel lights, late nights, early alarms. I could control my training and most of my nutrition, but my nights kept slipping away from me.
The realization
I never stopped digging into biohacking, reading, testing, learning. And as the years passed, a pattern became impossible to ignore. On the days I had slept well, I was happier, calmer, clearer in my head. I had energy, I had ambition, I wanted to go after my goals.
On the days I hadn't, nothing could compensate. Not the coffee, not the supplements, not the workouts. My mood, my mental wellbeing, my drive, my results: everything was connected to sleep. That's when I understood that sleep wasn't one part of my health. It was the foundation of all of it.
Everything was connected to sleep. My mood, my energy, my ambition, my results.
Discovering the power of red light
So I started researching sleep seriously. Red light kept coming up. I had already seen how popular it had become in skincare and wellness, and one question stuck with me: if red light can do so much for the skin, what could it do for our nights?
The deeper I went, the more fascinating it became. Red is the light trusted at night by navies all around the world, on submarines and ship bridges, because it lets crews stay functional in the dark without the disruption of white light. NASA has studied lighting to protect astronauts' sleep cycles in space. And a study on elite basketball players linked red light exposure at night to better sleep quality and improved endurance.
To me, it was clear. Red light was a powerful lever that almost nobody was using at home, at the moment it matters most: the hour before bed.
Our nights have changed
The previous generation never fell asleep with a smartphone in their hand. We do. We scroll in bed, we work on laptops until late, we live under bright ceiling lights long after the sun goes down. All that blue light keeps the brain in daytime mode, and it takes a real toll on our recovery.
Our environment has changed faster than our biology. That's why so many people struggle to switch off at night, and why so many end up reaching for pills just to fall asleep. I wanted a different path: a natural one.
Our environment has changed faster than our biology.
Inspired by nature
For thousands of years, our evenings ended with a sunset. Warm, red, fading light: the signal that tells the brain the day is over and it's time to slow down, release tension and rest. We simply stopped seeing it.
Regenight was designed to bring that signal back into your home, every single evening. No screens, no harsh white light, no blue. Just the light your body has always expected after sunset.
A home that makes you feel good
There's another side of this project that matters deeply to me. I've always needed a beautiful environment to feel inspired. To create, to build my projects, to work and to perform, I need a space that feels warm and calm.
So I didn't want a medical-looking device. I wanted an object you're proud to have on your nightstand. A light that optimizes your evenings and your sleep, but that also helps you feel good at home: relaxed, de-stressed, wrapped in a warm and cozy atmosphere.
I didn't want a device. I wanted an object you're proud to have on your nightstand.
Regenight, my journey in one object
This lamp reflects everything I've lived and learned about wellbeing. Every detail was chosen with care. The deep 670 nm red was selected as the precise wavelength to create that rich, sunset-like glow. The light was designed to be completely flicker-free, so your eyes and your brain can truly relax. And there is zero blue light, so your mind can switch into night mode.
It brings together comfort, calm and wellbeing. But above all, it acts on what I believe is the number one factor of a great life: the quality of your nights. For me, it's what keeps me young, fit, athletic, ambitious, and able to reach my goals.
What makes Regenight different
This is for you if you want more from life.
If you take your health seriously, if you train, eat clean and care about how you feel every morning, this is the next step. Switching on a red light every evening is a simple habit, but for anyone who wants to reach the next level of wellbeing, to feel happier and more energized, it's a real game changer. It's the most natural way I know to end the day: exactly the way nature intended.
